A four case Inro.

Fundame ground decorated in takamaki-e with a tiger amongst young bamboo branches. Aogai (mother of pearl) inlay to the leaves. Strewn aogai (aogai-kirikane) to the foreground mixed with gold kirikane.

Eyes on the tiger double inlaid in glass. The tongue and claws on the tiger in red and black lacquer. The reverse decorated with bamboo in the background. The foreground a large piece of aogai carved in the form of a bamboo node.

Compartments: Nashiji. Shoulders and rims: Fundame.
